Application Reset

1. Unplug Power Cord from Power Supply
The first step in resetting your TRUDI is to remove power from the system.
Do this by unplugging the power cord from the power supply. Never unplug the barrel jack from the black box on the back of TRUDI.

2. Swipe Up From The Bottom of The Tablet
Next, you will need to close the TRUDI application on the tablet.
Start by swiping up from the bottom of the screen.

3. Click Hamburger Icon
Swiping up from the bottom of the tablet will bring up the three-button control.
Tap the hamburger icon in the bottom-right corner.

4. Swipe Up on TRUDI Application
Tapping the hamburger icon will display all applications currently running on the tablet.
Find the TRUDI application and swipe up on it to close the application.

5. Plug Power Cord Into Power Supply
Once the tablet is no longer running the application, you are ready to plug the power cord back into the power supply.

6. Select "Send file" Button from Pop-Up Window
Once the system has power, it will signal the tablet to launch the application.
Before the application launches, a pop-up window titled "Charging this device via USB" or "USB photo transfer mode enabled" will appear.
To launch the application, tap the "Send file" button.

7. TRUDI Application Will Relaunch
Next, press the TRUDI logo at the top of the application to establish the USB connection to the gauges.

8. What If Message Does Not Appear?
If the "Charging this device via USB" message does not appear follow these steps:
1. Click on "Settings" icon
2. Click on "More connections" from left column
3. Click on "USB" arrow next to the copy that reads "Charging this device"
NOTE, the USB bar will not be an option if the power supply is not plugged into a power source.

9. Enable File Transfer
Once in the USB Preferences screen, make an adjustments to the settings:
"Use USB for" should be set to "File Transfer."
If "Use USB for" is already set to "File Transfer" change it to "USB tethering."
This adjustment to the USB preferences will allow the TRUDI application to automatically launch.
