2:1 Lacing Set Up

Install the Rubber Band and Plug on the rim

Different from an even wheel, a 2:1 requires the first spoke to be left side (low spoke count side) followed by two right side spokes (the high spoke count side).

Depending on how your wheel 2:1 is laced, you might need to place the Rubber Band and Plug on the rim one space in-front of the valve hole. This will require you to flip the plug upsidedown.

Switch TRUDI into “Pro” Solver mode

  • Click the “triple hamburger” button on top right of screen.
  • Select the “Settings” button
  • The “Settings” pop-up should appear in the center of your screen.
  • Tap the drop-down to reveal the “Standard” and “Pro” options
  • Select “Pro” and then click “DONE.”

Select your Wheel Recipe

Click the box at the top and center of your screen

The “Wheel Selector” pop-up will appear in the center of your screen.
Input the Rim Material, Rim Size and Spoke Type (same as in Standard mode).

Switch “Lacing” from “Even” to “2:1,” then input “Spoke Count.”

Input “Crosses” types. Crosses Left is the side with less spokes. Crosses Right is the side with a higher spoke count.
